History

1991 The history of the PetroStyle companies began with the foundation of TOO PetroStyle by private Russian and Dutch companies for the realization of the first retail project to meet European standards under the name of Babylon, later known as Super Babylon.

1995 Construction started to become a principal activity of PetroStyle. Along with the building reconstruction work, other business directions, such as building countryside cottages and supplying Finnish wooden houses made by Honka, Kotio and other companies onto the Russian market, were under active development.

1999 PetroStyle signed an exclusive contract with a Finnish manufacturer of prefabricated log houses called Vuokatti Huvilaveistamo OY.

2001 For the first time, PetroStyle emerged as a developer on the St Petersburg and Leningrad region construction market. The company brought to realization projects involving constrcution individual houses and cottage settlements.

2002 PetroStyle brought the Visokiye Yeli project to realization, the first fully designed cottage settlement that included ready made houses and plots of land with a settlement infrastructure.

2004 The Gorki SPB project, involving an elite complex of club cottages, was undertaken. The designer of the estate was the Finnish architectual bureau Arkval OY.

2005 The Korabelnie Sosni countryside club project, situated 57 km away from St Petersburg, was started. This project involved the construction of wooden houses, built from round and laminated logs, and each of the residences was surrounded by spacious plots of land of up to 0.42 hectares each.

2006 PetroStyle brought about the idea of building turnkey cottages. A show house called Villa Olivia was constructed as a result of a joint project between PetroStyle and the Bulthaup Design Gallery. The company detected a sustained trend in building countryside estates, and began to offer interiors that include all the nuances that transform the inner space of a building, and meet all the requirements of an exclusive housing estate, to its clients.

2007 PetroStyle has announced a new and ambitious project – the development of a deluxe cottage estate called Medovoe. On the territory laid aside for this countryside settlement, which consists of 13.7 hectares of land in total, there is space enough for 23 large, comfortable cottages with big plots of land attached.

2008 The key activity of PetroStyle was the construction of cottage estates and individual houses. The company has begun the realization of projects that have been in the pipeline since last year.
